兵庫県生まれ、東京在住。
幼少期に身近にあった古いギャグ漫画のナンセンスな世界観や、昭和の少女漫画が持つ極端な表情と大胆な物語性に強い影響を受ける。
人間が持つまぬけさやくだらなさへの愛情と、それらを真剣に追求する姿勢を軸に、絶えず作品を制作。
何気ない日常のおもしろい瞬間やちょっとした違和感からインスピレーションを得ながら、奇抜なカラーリングとユーモラスな人物描写で、
現実のすぐ隣にひそむ非現実をシュールに描く。
アクリルガッシュやマーカーを主なメディアとし、近年はウォールアートなど立体的な表現にも活動の幅を広げている。
Born in Hyogo and based in Tokyo.
She grew up inspired by the playful nonsense of old gag comics and the bold expressions found in Shōwa-era girls’ manga.
Drawn to the silly and lovable sides of people, she creates work sparked by the small, quirky moments in everyday life. With bright colors and loosely drawn characters, she depicts a slightly surreal world that feels as if it appears right next door to reality.
She mainly works with acrylic gouache and markers, and has recently been expanding her practice into more spatial forms, including wall art.
