香川県直島出身。
神戸デザイナー学院卒業後、Webデザインプロダクションでの勤務を経て、2002年より山本重也氏に師事。
2006年にフリーランスのイラストレーターとして独立。
「人と人の間に漂う空気や間」を独自の視点でコミカルかつシニカルに表現する作風が特徴で、
その優しいタッチと誰も傷つけない表現が高く評価されている。
広告やキャラクター制作をはじめ、内閣府や国立研究開発法人などの行政関連プロジェクトにも多数携わるほ
か、NewsPicks、AERA、Tarzan、Casa BRUTUS、Penなど、多岐にわたるメディアにおいても幅広く活躍している。

Born in Naoshima, Kagawa Prefecture.
After graduating from Kobe Design University, he began his career at a web design production company, then trained under Shigeya Yamamoto from 2002.
He became a freelance illustrator in 2006.
His style is characterized by a unique, humorous, and slightly cynical expression of the “air and space” that exists between people.
His gentle touch and considerate storytelling—never harming or criticizing anyone—have earned him high acclaim.
In addition to advertising and character design, he has worked on numerous governmental projects for organizations such as the Cabinet Office and national research institutes.
His illustrations are also widely featured across media including NewsPicks, AERA, Tarzan, Casa BRUTUS, and Pen.
